Relearning Life

It is not easy,

Relearning

How to live

Your life

Rewire the soul,

And

Rebuild the

Walls you let fall,

Rewind and unwind

Memories of happy days,

Unique and amazing,

Some extraordinary ways

To carry the world on your

Shoulders again,

And calm the seas

In your eyes,

To see clearly of all you left behind,

With guilt weighing you down,

It’s not easy

To remember how strong

You were all along,

Once you been broken down,

And can’t be put together,

To remind every broken piece

of the cosmic reality,

Of the constellations that make up

The galaxy of your soul.

It’s not easy

To unlearn giving up

And be your person,

Kind and beautiful

And accept yourself

For the person you have become,

Strange, wild and beautiful,

Just missing a little fairy dust,

And to build your own path again,

For once you were,

Someone who would love,

And not run from life

As it’s not easy

Once you stop living

To Relearn to sober up.

Blurry Lines

image

Its just blurry lines
No sense of wrong and right
Everything is a pretense
Just enraged voices in my head,
Remnants of a distant past.
Silenced with lies.

Galaxies are made up truths
A definition of infinite,
Infiltrated with the shadows of life.
Or just another word for the light that flickr,
As your soul burns with limitless effort.

When u don’t have best of life
All u wanna do is hide n die.
Every desire turned to dust
Waiting for time to run its course.
There is nothing more poisonous than remorse.

Damaged by demons we can’t escape
Irreparable wounds rooted in veins.
Random fragments of memories laced with regrets,
Scattered in bloodstream hard to accept.

The ink splatters in yellow space.
Also trying to find their place.
The greatest beauty wrapped in grey,
Disguised in something unwanted.

Questioning one’s existence,
Faithless in this stride
Choking on your dreams,
Wicked in everyone’s eyes.

But darling wherever you go,
It’ll take a lot of love to hate this life.

To the Infinite

image

Lonely silhouette of your being,
The pixallated view of your most cherished dreams,
Caged walls of your beating heart,
The broken promises of a beautiful start,
Void in your gray soul,
The regret for not making that last call,
Finding your way in a labyrinth,
The warmth of the fire you hold within,
Those darkest secrets you hide behind those eyes,
The rules your existence defies,
Numbness pressed in your bones,
The soul deep fears of different colors and tones,
Tears that taste like feelings and little salt,
The humid summer night’s fault,
Unhinged recklessness from the fabric of your being,
The dust you are of everything selfish and mean,
Smiles and laugh are temporary delusions,
Reality is what kills you, while you survive illusion,
You’ll become one of those,
Those who live with daggers hanging on their heads,
Whose forte are dark room and cold beds,
You’ll always be out of place no matter the site
Because love, you belong to the infinite.

My story- rewritten

image

I am not perfect,
I am miserable,
And I am distorted,
Like that old mirror,
I am dysfunctional at times,
Nervous at most crucial of moments,
I am afraid to speak,
To speak for myself,
I overthink things,
And mess the most beautiful of moments,
I contemplate,
Lose my sleep over people,
People who don’t even deserve a second of my small life,
I write, cut and re-write the same thing i wrote before,
For it didn’t feel right the first time,
I wish i could change,
To become someone easy to come by,
Someone who fits in the norms,
To be confident in my bones.
I sometimes feel this storm,
The storm of rage,
Destruction is all it seeks,
But i hold it in,
For I don’t want anyone to get hurt,
I wish I could be like rain,
Sometimes vapour,
Sometimes cloud,
And when i fall,
I could bring life to all.
But may be I am just like that,
May be I am just letting the pretty sun,
Overshadow my beauty,
The beauty of a rain,
Poets and lovers often converse with me,
While no one dares look in the eyes of the sun,
I flow on earth like the tears from heaven’s eyes,
And I too bring life,
The life to every sad soul,
The ones who lost hope sit in silence,
Letting out the sighs,
Like the gushy air,
That comes following me,
But then I also hold the power,
Power to destroy,
Destroy what sun takes credit for,
The pride he takes for being the energy source,
But when I come,
With my full force,
I will take with me,
What no living soul can endure.
But I still have just one wish,
To be in harmony with the sun,
For I wish to be the life force,
And no destroyer.

When inside calls.

image

Just look upwards,
Lose yourself to the endless sky,
And then look inside,
Where another galaxy lies.

Look at the trees,
Some young some old,
And look inside,
To see that greenery so bold.

Look at the rivers,
Flowing and cleansing on its own,
And look inside,
To find that flow since you were born.

Jump and scream,
In the air so cold,
And look inside,
To feel the warmth.

Run barefoot,
In the pouring rain.
And permit your heart to cry,
Letting out every pain.

Sweat it out,
Under the sun’s scorching heat,
And look inside,
To keep going until your heart beats.

Play with snow,
On a winter eve,
And look inside you,
To wake that child up long been asleep.

Look down around your feet,
Those tiny creatures roaming around.
And look inside you,
To embrace the free spirit you just found.

Look at the bird,
Sitting on a branch that might break with a little gush,
And look inside you,
To find the wings you can trust.

Look at rainbow,
Painting the sky,
And look inside you,
Its all black and white until you try.

Look at the cactus,
Feel its thorns,
And look inside you,
Your thoughts will hurt you more.

Climb the mountain,
To enjoy the view,
And look inside you,
Its even more beautiful.

Look at the city shining so bright,
On a festival night,
And look inside you,
To find in darkness that tiny spark of light.

Notice that rust surfacing on iron bars,
Rain and air working their little mischief,
And look inside you,
Your dreams rusted with bad thoughts and superfluous beliefs

Just look around,
To the world so beautiful outside,
But never forget to free the world,
Trapped inside.
